What is Friendlyr?

Friendlyr is social planning software for people who already share a community. It pays attention to what people enjoy and when they are free, then uses that shared picture to kick off plans with the people who can make them.

The point is more time together. That could mean a club doing something between its major events, a cohort finding an open evening, or friends making room for something more interesting than another monthly catchup.

Turn planning on its head

Most planning software starts with an event somebody has already decided to organize. Friendlyr starts with the group: what people enjoy, what they have been meaning to try, and when they are free.

People can tell Friendlyr what they want to try or when they have time. When people's interests and schedules line up, Friendlyr can suggest something local and kick off a plan. Nobody needs to arrive with a finished proposal.

Once a plan begins, Friendlyr can handle the scheduling, invitations, and follow-up. Anyone in the group can ask it to get started.

A plan can fit the people who are free

Event calendars and regularly scheduled programming have their place, but they do not turn a network into a community. Groups miss plenty of good chances to connect when they wait for everyone to make the same date. Friendlyr is designed around whoever can join.

A few members might try a neighborhood restaurant after class. Someone else might find two friends free for a Saturday run. These smaller plans count. They meet people where they are and give the group more shared life between the occasions that bring everyone together.

Made for communities

Friendlyr works for the people already inside a friend group, club, cohort, team, or neighborhood. The person who brings it in might lead the community, but they do not have to. Sometimes one member simply wants the group to do more together.

As more people take part, Friendlyr gains a better understanding of what the group enjoys and when plans are likely to work. The result is a group with more chances to connect and more experiences in common.
